Ate at Le Charm last night. I'm not sure why, considering that (a) I should be saving money after this month's rather extravagant spending, and (b) I've been doing so well on my diet, why would I spoil it with a three course meal at a French restaurant? But there it is.

Went to the Castro for Halloween last night. Basically just 300,000 people milling around. Just like Exotic Erotic -- there was no there there. We wandered around for awhile, then tried to get in contact with Rebecca's friend Forrest, but all lines were busy, so we couldn't ever get through. Something about piling a quarter million people in the space of a few city blocks all trying to find friends that has a tendency to debilitate cellular phone service. So we went home. Pretty boring evening overall.
